VTI - Exam Notice

NOTICE TO ALL EXTERNAL 7290-11/12 EXAMINATION LEARNERS

To avoid further confusion and unnecessary personal expenses related to printing materials, portfolio preparation, and time requirements, all practical examinations shall henceforth consist solely of assignments designed to assess essential skills, as mandatorily outlined in each learner's assessment pack only, and will include:

• Practical tasks
• Observation
• Verbal questioning
• Short-answer questions

The above components will cover all learning outcomes outlined in each registered learner's assessment pack.

Assessments will be conducted within the classroom/centre environment and must be completed in accordance with current industry standards and practices, as specified in the Practical Assignment Requirements and the relevant mandatory documentation for each qualification assessment pack.

All assignments are to be carried out within the centre and completed according to current industry standards and accepted professional practice.

Please note that although the units within these qualifications are closely related to VCQ [vocational Guidance document] units, they do not imply occupational competence.

Also kindly be advised that the learner who was referred for the May/June practical assessment due to the portfolio shall have this assessment cancelled and be reassessed in accordance with the assessment pack provided.
